Everyone who has been involved in the planning of FIERCE have put in their time and effort to ensure the success of the program not because they are expecting something in return. In fact, it's the contrary: they leave all their hard work on the table because their passion drives them to give their all to a program they wholeheartedly believe in. Our missions-- to empower FIlipinx youth, provide resources, develop relationships, encourage the pursuit higher education-- are things we are passionate about. Without the foundation of FIERCE--passion--the program cannot exist. We can learn a lot about passion from hearing the stories of those who help ensure the success of the event. My hope is to show you--the readers--a glimpse of the work committee members put in, as well as inspire you all to pursue the things you are passionate about. Whether it be FIERCE, or anything else in your life. While there are many people involved in planning FIERCE, today, we're hearing the stories of Jes, Kenneth, Nikki, and Ericalyn.
I hope in some ways this blog post helps showcase some of the work our committee members do and I hope to have inspired readers to go out there and work for the things that drive their passion.
